Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. Her parents are Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was the eldest child of four living in San Francisco Bay, California. As a teenager her interest in the acting world when she sang during a Christmas production at school. The school play she performed in was and local community theatre. Linda has graduated from Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California.
